I've read recommendations that the infant car seat should be installed in the car by week #32, just in case. Today I am exactly 32 weeks pregnant and I'm happy to be able to check this off the list.
The Plantation Police Department does car seat inspections twice a month at the Toys R Us, so I went today for an inspection. It's a good thing that I did, because the officer's first reaction to opening the car door was, "Oh, this is all wrong."
They helped me re-install it correctly, so now we are all ready for a safe journey home from the hospital for Baby Carly. I can't wait!!!
